Sean Musselman is a Science Specialist for the Burlington, Massachusetts Public Schools and its Burlington Science Center. His primary goal each and every year is to coordinate and enrich the school system’s science curriculum by “bringing science to life” with Science Center partner, Wendy Pavlicek. Prior to his employment in Burlington, Mr. Musselman was an eighth grade earth and space science teacher for the Reading, Massachusetts public schools.
Mr. Musselman is a graduate from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in geology and the “Outstanding Senior in Geology Award” for the class of 2006. He has also earned a Masters degree in Science Education from Cambridge College and his licensure in 1-6 and 5-8 General Science.
Mr. Musselman is the president of the North Shore Science Supervisors Association of Massachusetts and a curator of resources for the National Science Teachers Association’s NGSS Hub. He also teaches a hybrid elementary science methods course for Cambridge College.
